An E-STEM Education: Programming in Environmental Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math subject areas.

S.M.A.R.T. - Science, Math and Relevant Technologies

To help young people thrive in the technological world they encounter, discover talents, think and communicate effectively, create passionately, take pride in accomplishments, pursue fulfilling careers, give back and become models for future generations.

FIRST Robotics Competition and FIRST Tech Challenge

For students from the 5th through 12th grades, our FIRST Robotics Competition and Tech Challenge Programs give young minds a chance to be a part of the hardest fun they’ll ever have! FIRST Robotics is an inclusive program that introduces students to engineering and coding/programming in a creative and competitive environment. Students will discover their future in an E-STEM career by working side by side with professional mentors as they design and build robots together.

Design and Advanced Fabrication

Printing-Imagination meets manufacturing in this hands-on course where students learn how to design simple 3D models and prepare them for 3D printing. Learn how change the filament, maintain a 3D printer, and operate it safely. Make something from scratch or import a more intricate model to use as a starting point, then watch your creation come to life layer-by-layer and take it home.

Electrathon

Students learn to design and build an electric vehicle they can drive. The 60 minute competitions are held on various closed loop courses, with each car limited to approximately 1000 Watt-hour of electricity from any chemical battery, solid-state battery or super capacitor that is deemed safe. That is about 12 pennies of electricity in most of the US.

G-STEM

FOR GRADES: 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12
For high school female students, designed as a pre-collegiate experience held at E-STEM work sites and education institutions across the across the state. The goal is to encourage female students to pursue college majors and careers in engineering and other E-STEM-related fields through a program of focused, hands-on, rigorous academics, enrichment, and career exploration.

Drones

Students take to the skies with hands-on learning, innovation and adventure as honorary junior drone pilot. This program is specifically designed to open the door into both the present and the future. Fly away with us as we continue to educate students all over the world to both the application and usefulness of drones and how this technology will have an impact on how kids, teens and high school students to create, to think, and to solve.
