IWMF students had the opportunity to visit Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral for a up-close look at NASA’s space program. Accompanied by staff and volunteers, youth discovered the past, present and future of space exploration through a hands-on tour. This memorable and fun experience will inspire the next generation of pioneers to reach for the stars.

Thank You: IGNITE 2020

IWMF is so grateful for our friends and supporters who came together at IGNITE 2020. Through your generosity, our mobile E-STEM lab will soon impact students in both urban and rural school districts through after-school programs, summer internships, college tours, and more. A heartfelt thank you to the students, parents, and engaged community members who were able to join us for this fun and fulfilling evening. Take a look at our recap video below for highlights from IGNITE 2020 at the Collaboratory!

Growing Our Community Garden

With the help of local farmers like Roscoe Thurman Sr. and members of the community, our garden is making major progress! Phase one, which included layouts of pathways, food gardens, flower beds, composting areas, and vertical structures, is now complete.
