Giving Campaigns

Amidst COVID-19, IWMF has gone virtual! During this time, we have transitioned and adapted our usual E-STEM programs to an E-learning based platform. We hope that you consider supporting our organization during this time so we can continue to deliver these cutting-edge programs to students in the SWFL community. Read below for ways you can help.

Seeding the Future Campaign

One out of six Americans is food insecure, meaning they don’t know from where their next meal will come. No matter where you live, there are people in our community that are experiencing hunger. Food pantries help fill in the gaps but are continuously lacking in healthy, fresh produce to offer.  Luckily, you can help alleviate this issue in our own neighborhood!

Our ambitions are as high as our hopes. Every individual, including you, has the amazing power to change lives with some plants, soil, sunlight, water, and love. Won’t you join us and help us reach our goal of delivering 10,000 pounds of fresh produce to those who need it most?

Growing produce at UCF takes a whole community of individuals with their hands both in and out of the soil. Tax-deductible gifts at all levels helps to further UCF purposes  of economic development , food distribution,  culture and health education and feeding . Please support UCF today. Your gift will not only support our growing, but will also help provide for insurance, tree care, and garden improvements such as new raised beds, nutrient-rich compost, and sheds at protected gardens. Please contact , IWMF  at  XXXXXXXXXXX or UCF@iwmf2.org with any questions. Thank you for your support.

In 2020, more people than ever before turned to plants to help calm, soothe, heal, nourish and inspire them during the ongoing global health crisis. They are learning that plants power so much of our lives. They nourish our bodies and our souls, they are used to create new medicines, they are important for building materials and clothing – and they are at the center of solving our planet’s climate and environmental issues.

Throughout the year, we’ll be posting ideas on how you can use the power of plants to improve your community and the lives of your family.  We’d love to hear your ideas as well.

Engineering Tomorrow’s Leaders Campaign

Today, clean water is readily available to 2.5 billion more people than it was a generation ago. Nearly a quarter of global electricity now comes from clean, renewable sources. Self-driving vehicles, 3D printing, and automated glucose monitors are engineering feats of the 21st Century. But there is still so much more to do.

More and more diverse K-12 and college students will engage in education that inspires them to explore the wonders of engineering. More young engineers will get the guidance and support they need to engage in careers that matter. More life-saving ideas that innovate will advance from prototype to marketplace, improving quality of life in underserved communities around the world.

The Campaign for Engineering Tomorrows Leaders  will support a scalable arc of programs that enhance learning at every stage of an engineer’s journey, from early inspiration to career engagement and leadership

Please consider Donating Online as one of the quickest and most effective ways of making a difference. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and impacts so many.
